Charles’s path began in 2009, when as a 20-year-old college junior he took an internship at Merrill Lynch. That early experience sparked a clear conviction that he wanted to build a career as a financial advisor singularly devoted to his clients and their best interests. That client-first philosophy became the foundation for everything that followed.
A Firm Built on Conviction
In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Charles founded Marks Wealth Management and has led the firm as CEO ever since. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a premier investment practice managing over $500 million in client assets.
Charles provides highly personalized investment guidance to a select clientele, Fortune 500 professionals, corporate executives, business owners, affluent families, and retirees preparing for their next chapter in life. He is a registered investment adviser and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Salisbury University’s Perdue School of Business.
Beyond the Office
Outside the office, Charles’s world revolves around his wife, Taylor Marks, and their two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. He is a dedicated early riser, he starts each day with a workout, a discipline he credits with sustaining the energy and focus his work demands.
That balance between family, fitness, and career has been central to his success. Above all, Charles values the personal relationships at the heart of his practice. Many of his clients have become close friends and family members, a testament to the trust and genuine connection he brings to every relationship.
